Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide vision correction to patients
- Help prepare patients before an examination by gathering their medical history information
- You may sometime be able to perform therapy exercise or procedures with the patient
- Monitoring inventory within exam rooms or laboratory
- You keep notes during an examination
- May help do minor repairs to broken or damaged glasses
- Education patients how to take care of their glass or contact lenses

Education
- You must first need your high school diploma
- An optometry technician training program or two year
- Associate degree (will make you more competitive as an optometry)
- Common courses to help prepare including anatomy, physiology of the eye, optics, optometric procedures and optical devices

Refection
I would not like to be one because an optometry technician doesn't catch my interest. It would seem like a job i would enjoy doing for the rest of my life.
