Duties and Responsibilities: Are responsible for rushing to the scene of crisis and can perform basic life-saving technique, including; Patient assessment. Burn management. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Salary: $51,374

Education: The National Registry Of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) is the certifying agency for EMTs and paramedics. Once you complete EMT certification training you’ll be required to pass written practical exams.

Demands or Needs for this Profession: Approved training programs at the appropriate EMT level; some programs lead to certificates or associate degree. You need to be state licensure.
