Environmental Health Specialist


Duties and Responsibilities: Is a general term for someone who inspects environmental health system to make sure they are in compliance with local, state regulations. These regulations are set to keep people safe and healthy.
  • Reviewing permits
  • Collecting and interpreting data
  • Investigating complaints
  • Monitoring
  • Educating
  • Performing inspections
  • Renewing or revoking licenses


Salary: $49,529 -  $64,750


Education: Bachelor degree. Occupational health, safety or a comparable scientific discipline. Voluntary certification is available through professional organizations. Work experience through internships or other wise.


Demands For this Profession: You need good communications skills. You need technical skills as in to work the equipment .
